Fabric & More

Haver you been in to see us lately?

I can’t believe we have been open 6 months already, the time has just flown in!  The shop is filling up and think we have worked out the layout so all our products are easily seen.  New stock is always arriving, so if you haven’t been in for a while pay us a visit and see what’s in.

During October we have a sale on 40% off fabrics and 20% haberdashery, not only that McCalls have 40% off their patterns until the 20th October, great savings to be had on your next project.

At the beginning of September we introduced a little gift section, selling products from local makers which include some fabulous wooden signs from Bramble Moon Designs, stunning stained glass items from Simmer Dim Design, hadmade cards from Indy Bee Crafts (who also do Christmas Eve boxes available to order now), hair bows by Bowtopia and bags and purses from Lou’s Stitchery.   If you are looking for a housewarming gift of something a bit special we have stunning paintings from Shells Bells Art and Ann Paterson. You can order keepsake and memory items in the shop as well.

Our classes and workshops are proving to be popular with many sold out, but you can still book in for our three week beginners block at the end of October, if you are at a loose end on the 14th October join us for our silver clay jewellery class where you will leave with your own piece of silver jewellery.  And if you want to learn how to hand embroider join Lisa Dolson for her class in November.   We have some Christmas craft classes lined up and will publish details just as soon as they are confirmed.
